Buddy
Break Ministry
One Saturday each month,
giving parents of kids with special needs a
break. Buddy Break is a FREE respite
program. VIP kids are paired one-on-one with a
trained, compassionate, and understanding
Buddy for various fun activities at the church
while the caregivers receive a
three-hour break from their on-going care-giving
responsibilities. Sign up your VIP kid by
calling the church at (941-488-2258). |

A NURSERY IS AVAILABLE
for children
two and under in the Infant/
Toddler Building. All parents are encouraged
to stop by the nursery to
sign in your children and pick up a
beeper for our attendants to contact you if the
need should arise. |

Vacation Bible School
June 2010 Vacation Bible
School was entitled Hero Headquarters.

Family Bowling
VPC Family Bowling on some Saturday mornings in Venice. Bumpers are out for the kids and parents have an opportunity to get competitive with each other in a more serious game. Come out for a great time and fancy bowling alley food! Adults and children welcome.

TRUNK-or-TREAT
Our annual community party held in October on the Venice Presbyterian Church grounds. Includes a Fall festival with goodies. Carnival games and pony rides also included. Children and youth are encouraged to dress in their favorite costume and “Trick or Treat” through the church parking lot...our very own VPC neighborhood.. |
