Cancer Support
Under Donna and Rob Hendon’s leadership, a group of about 20 cancer survivors and those in treatment have begun meeting regularly to share the journey of living with cancer. Using Psalm 23 as their biblical foundation for discussion, and lifting up the hope of Christ in their discussions, this new ministry is flourishing and bringing healing and encouragement to its participants. Future plans include a Wholeness worship service, more ongoing groups, and resources for others walking this path. |

We are gathering additional resources from AL-ANON, Alcoholics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery Christian Support Groups, the American Cancer Society, The Wellness Community, and other faith-based and social services for referrals. They can be found in the information Kiosk, or ask a Pastor. |
