Warren Apple
Warren Apple has been Director of Music Ministries at VPC since August of
1997. He has held previous church positions at First Presbyterian Church in
Augusta, Georgia, and Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, as
well as tenured faculty positions at Mitchell College and the University of
South Carolina. He has over 200 articles and reviews in print in various
professional journals.

At VPC, he directs the Chancel Choir, the
Contemporary Choir and the Covenant Handbells, as well as organizes the
Advent Organ Recitals Series and the Lenten Chamber Music Series. For the
past six years he has prepared a choir from VPC to participate in the
Candlelight Processional at EPCOT with the Disney World Symphony. In 2002
and 2004 he directed the VPC Choir in performance tours of Europe and
Scandinavia. Warren and his wife, Nancy, have three sons, Robert (18),
Stephen (15) and Christopher (12).
