Feeling Better Practicing Tai Chi

Tai Chi Group Classes

While trying to sort through all the methods and systems of attaining and maintaining personal fitness, we can recommend one of the most ancient methods—Tai Chi.  Developed many centuries ago, Tai Chi can help one live longer and feel better.

This slow, gentle discipline, readily learnable yet forever challenging, requires no equipment and can be done in the privacy of your bedroom, on the beach while watching the sun set, or in a rest area on the way up the Interstate.  It will help one maintain physical balance, increase energy, and help reduce stress.  Playing Tai Chi can lead to an awareness of one’s body, aiding in the healing process.  The added confidence and abilities learned can be the motivation to ‘prime the pump’ in the sequence of attaining other goals.

Tai Chi is open to all ages and abilities.  Our group is made up of men and women, retired or still in the active work force.  We are confident that during the three-plus years that we have played Tai Chi, it has helped us maintain our health and have noticed that our bodies have more balance, strength, and confidence.  We have fun.  You can too.  Join us.  To quote an old commercial, “Try it.  You’ll like it.”
